Choco-peanut smoothie

Choco-peanut smoothie

Here comes another smoothie energy bomb. New day, new smoothie. This time I didn’t use so many fruits as you will see. I can’t decide which is the main ingredient. They are all yummy and fit perfectly together. Ok, I will reveal them; the only fruit is a banana, which goes great with almonds, peanuts and cacao. Try this choco-peanut smoothie.

Ingredients for 2:

  • 2 bananas (cut, frozen)
  • 1 Tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp of cacao powder
  • 150-200 ml of almond milk

Toppings:

  • 1 banana (cut)
  • granola
  • almonds (whole and ground)
  • peanut butter

Start by putting all the ingredients in the blender; frozen bananas with peanut butter, cacao and add the almond milk. Frozen fruits are great to make the smoothie creamy and thick. And the milk helps to blend the frozen fruits easier. You can add as much as you like. Less you add, thicker your smoothie will be. Cover the blender and pulse until smooth and yummy.

Prepare two bowls, fill them with the smoothie and add the toppings. I almost always add the granola. Simply because I like it so much. Use your imagination for the “decoration”.

Enjoy!
