The “Frozen” smoothie

The hot weather reached also Hamburg. A cold smoothie bowl is perfect on a summer day. If you ran out of ice-cream, just follow this recipe and in 5 minutes you will have a great refreshing snack. One of the great things to do at home is to freeze pieces of different fruits. Like that you will be always prepared when in need to make a cool smoothie.

This is what I used:

  • 200-230 g frozen strawberries
  • 200 g or 1 frozen mango (pieces, not the whole fruit)
  • 100 g raspberries
  • 100 ml almond milk (add more if you want a liquid smoothie)

For the toppings:

  • 20-25 grapes
  • 1 Tbsp of goji berries
  • 2 Tbsp of coconut chips
  • 2 Tbsp of granola
  • 1 Tbsp of cannabis seeds

From these ingredients you will get 2 portions of the cool fruity smoothie.

Prepare your blender and put in all the frozen fruits, raspberries and almond milk. If it stops, just shake it a little. Frozen fruits like to stick quickly together, but the milk will help to blend them nicely.

Pour the mixture in two smoothie bowls. My mixture was quite thick, so I made a whirl. Use a teaspoon to make this spiral shape. It is not must, but it looks nicer. Then add the toppings, following the spiral shape.

The summer evenings will never be the same again.
